Colour Display Strategies for Enhanced Representation of Meris Data

In this paper the problem of enhanced colour representation of MERIS data is discussed. Four methods are presented which tackle the problem of multispectral data colour visualisation. In order to assess these colour display strategies a data analysis using both statistical and information measures is presented. The performance of the proposed methods is evaluated objectively by means of mutual information.
